Australian Constituency - by Craig Hill

New Democrat In South Australian Parliament

January 19th 2009 21:48
The South Australian Democrats have chosen David Winderlich as replacement for retiring South Australian upper house MP Sandra Kanck.

David Winderlich was Ms Kanck's researcher for the past two years and has previously stood as a Democrat candidate. The Party's renowned internally democratic processes selected David from a strong field of candidates. All members had the opportunity to participate in the member ballot to endorse Mr Winderlich to fill the position held by MP Sandra Kanck.

Mr Winderlich will usher in a fresh direction for the party, and be focusing on getting out into the electorate, getting to know people in the community and seeing what he can do to help them.

Sandra Kanck (MLC)
